GENERAL / FAMILY DENTISTRY
The practice of general dentistry includes array of services and procedures. The goal of general dentistry is to help preserve natural teeth as long as possible. Thus ensures good oral health, and helps looking and feeling great throughout life.
Oral health is a very important part of general health. In fact, medical research does reveals many links between dental infections & conditions like cardiovascular disease. That is why it is important to maintain the health of your teeth and other oral tissues.
Dental visits should start in childhood. so that health-promoting habits can develop early.
Even toddlers can benefit from a trip to CDiC dental clinic. By orally examining for early signs of tooth decay. It helps them become accustomed to the place where many important preventive services will be performed throughout childhood and beyond.
Every stage of life carries with it particular oral health concerns. We at CDiC are trained to address every one of them. Happy to welcome you all.
General Dentistry Procedures:
We at cdic do Teeth scaling/ cleaning with ultasonic specialized instrument/ appliance. as a result it helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Oral examination catches early signs of dental disease. thus helps to prevent progression of Periodontitis and gingivitis.
We do RCT essentially as A Tooth Saving & Pain Relieving Procedure. Very often RCT is done in a tooth with a very deep cavity exposing the nerve, thus leading to severe pain or discomfort. So in conclusion RCT saves the tooth from ultimate removal or tooth loss.
Tooth removal or extraction is done to remove unhealthy tooth, which cannot be treated or restored or impacted or severely infected.
At times a damaged or impacted wisdom tooth requires a more invasive procedure. This commonly known as wisdom tooth or disimpaction surgery. Firstly its done to relieve a chronic or intense pain. Secondly this gives a permanent relief to dental pain. So in conclusion this avoids, down the road complications like pericoronitis leading to intraoral or extraoral swelling , spacial infection , adjacent tooth / teeth damage etc.
Why to Visit Dentist if no Pain ?
Many people only go to the dentist when tooth pains or something is wrong, its a real shame to do so because :
- You are missing out on so many preventive services.
- These visits save discomfort and expense down the road.
- Regular dental visits every 6 months, are essential to make sure oral health problems from tooth decay to oral cancer are detected & treated in a timely manner.
- Some individual needs to see the dentist more often than others to stay on top of problems like plaque buildup and gum disease.
- Else for everyone they should go at least once.
